And she's done it again! Kelly Moran has weaved a tale so captivating she had me laughing periodically, then sobbing into my pillow at 4:30AM. I kept promising myself one more chapter until i couldn't see straight and called it quits for the night.

Sammy believes herself to be weak, has major trust issues and enough trouble in her life to damage anyone. But she's such a strong character and i admired the hell out of her. Her attitude towards Cain made my stomach ache from laughing too much, they make a beautiful pair.

Cain, oh lovely Cain *sigh* My heart bled for him, i just wanted to put my arms round him, squeeze and never let go. Perfection, that's the first word to come to mind when i think about Cain. Having suffered great pain at an early age he doesn't give up, he keeps searching for that something to make him whole again. And he doesn't half find it.

Ghost of You is darker than the others in the series, i think. The place they go, the history surrounding it, the ghostly inhabitants. Add them all together and they gave me a major case of goosebumps.

I finished this book a few hours ago now and i still cant stop thinking about it. Its one of the ones that stick to you like glue, such a heart-breakingly beautiful story. By far my favourite couple in the Phantoms series.

I absolutely loved Jackson and Avas’ story. I’ve never really been into ghost stories or anything of the sort but, Oh My! Kelly Morans’ writing is just magical. And this series just keeps getting better.

My first thought was poor Paul, what an amazing character he is. I totally fell in love with him from almost the very beginning. Then again, i think anyone who reads this book will too (and you totally should, It's AWESOME).

Kerry is such a strong character throughout most of the book. She has her moments of doubt, but who doesn’t? She’s not just beautiful on the outside, Kerry has got the whole package. Lovely on the inside as well as out. Always putting others before herself. I loved her too <3

Paul and Kerry make a dynamic couple. They have a lot to sort out but i prayed they’d get through it and come out the other end smiling. As usual, Moran writes a fantastic story that i just couldn’t get enough of.

Still loved all the other characters from the Phantoms group. The new man was a great addition and i can’t wait to see what else he brings to the team. #FLOVE

I promise you wont be disappointed in this series. If you haven’t read them yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Lil has a dream, she’s transported to another world, meeting her doppelgänger. When she wakes up she’s left with questions. When a boy kidnaps her from school needing her help to save Willow, her double she jumps right in.

I love books with parallel universes, they’re fun to read and different. It’s amazing the imagination that goes into it. Ruth creates a world filled with magic, love, hope, fear and power. Fae are also a favourite creature of mine so I was really happy to see them included.

Lil and Willow look alike but they are very different. It’s only little things but it’s noticeable. I loved Lil, she will do everything she can to save her friends, even if it means making sacrifices. Willow seemed a little stuck up to me, but I loved how she was with Jamie and I warmed up to her towards the end. Hudson, Rawlie & Arianna were cool characters but I think they could have been a little more detailed.

The world building was good, I loved the portals and how everything came together. The individual powers from the Mystics was funky too. I had quite a few surprises thrown at me, one or two I definitely wasn’t expecting.

I had to put Orenda down a few times as I got bored but then at other times I was on the edge of my seat excited, It was a little up and down for me. Good but not my favourite from Ruth Silver. I’m curious to know what happens next even if I am a little undecided if I’ll read book 2.

Evelyn goes to Vegas with her best friend Lauren for her 21st birthday. She wakes up on the floor of her motel room bathroom with no idea how she got there. What she wasn’t expecting was David, the hot rock star to be in her room half naked and claiming they were married.

Evelyn returns home to Portland be bombarded by the paparazzi and then has to get away with Sam, David’s bodyguard who takes her to David to sort out the divorce papers. Evelyn and David got off on the wrong foot and soon become friends; but will it lead to more?

WOW! This totally rocked my socks! I had high expectations for ‘Lick’ and it definitely met them all. From the first page I was hooked. The plot was awesome and totally different from anything I’ve previously read. It draws the reader in a leaves you wanting more! I was giddy all the way through, LOVED IT!

Evelyn is insecure and it doesn’t help matters when David can barely even talk to her after he left her in Vegas. She finds herself wanting to spend time with him but doesn’t want to hope it could be more. David isn’t the average rock star, he may act like it but inside he’s broken, unable to trust. Evelyn could be the best thing that ever happened to him if he allows her inside.

The character building was great and you feel a real connection between Evelyn and David. Mal is my favourite character, he’s fun, flirtatious and keeps David on his toes around Ev, he’s so sweet, but in a totally rock god way! ;)

Overall I loved ‘Lick’ and can’t wait til the second book comes out next year! I was left with so many questions! Does their marriage survive? What about the band? Do they keep touring? What about Lauren and Nate?

Delaine’s mother is terminally ill and can’t be treated as they can’t afford it. So she decides to sell herself to the highest bidder, hoping to make enough for the transplant her mum so desperately needs. Noah Crawford is the highest bidder, what is supposed to be a none emotional arrangement doesn’t turn out so.

Delaine is I think the most selfless person I know. To sell herself to a complete stranger to save her mother from dying has got to be one of the most heart breaking yet bravest things I’ve ever read (and that’s a lot). I mean, she’s a virgin right? Surely she would never do it unless she believes there’s no other way. Just wow, I totally love her! And her attitude? Hahaha she made me laugh my socks off so many times, especially her speech to Lexi at the ball, even I said a “Ribbit” ( you’ll have to read it to get the joke ;)). I just loved her, she’s totally amazing.

Noah Crawford. I hated that I loved him. It’s unexplainable. One minute I was all OMG he’s amazing and the next I wanted to slap him silly! How bloody clueless can one man be? His mood swings were giving me whiplash, I get the reasons behind it but rather than keeping Lanie in the dark he should have just told her instead of making her feel like sh*t.

The story was genius, I loved it! A selfless woman and an arrogant, selfish man. I laughed and humphed, wanted to commit violence and applaud. A great story, I can’t wait to read A Million Guilty Pleasures (book 2 of which I already have, thank god).

I am an emotional wreck. Never have I had a book touch me to the bone. For me it wasn’t just a book, not just words. I felt a part of the story. As if I was right there along with the characters. Feeling ever emotion; Fear, Awe, friendship, love. It felt so real, truly amazing.

Ava is an awesome character, hell bent on keeping her home. She’s snarky, beautiful, caring and kind. One of my favourite leads by far. Jackson was exactly what Ava needed. He’s sexy, half British ;), understanding, supportive and sexy. Did I mention that yet? Their chemistry was off the charts and I loved every minute of it.

Normally, I tend to avoid ghost books as they do nothing for me but as Kelly is one of my go-to authors I thought “what the hell, give it a go!”. And I am so so glad I did, imagine missing out on a gem like this? no thanks.

No matter your preference of genre or your ‘avoid’ choices… Go buy this book NOW! You won’t be disappointed.

Ethan Scott accepts a mysterious job from a horror writer, moves into his home and meets the lovely scarred Ella. The chemistry between the two is instant, they may not know it but it’s definitely there. In my opinion, Ethan was exactly what Ella needed to crack the walls she’d built round herself.

Ethan was a great character, his bond with his mother warmed my heart, and the way he treated Ella, as if she was the most beautiful creature he’d ever seen won me over in no time at all.

Ella has had a rough life, not how one might think but I won’t ruin it for those who haven’t read it. She’s feisty and sharp, but only because she’s hiding from herself. Watching Zella come out of her shell was magical. To see her transform into the beauty she always was but couldn’t see for herself was my favourite part to the story.

There was so many twists and turns I didn’t see coming, I was always on the edge of my seat. Dying to see what happens next. I love modern fairy tales, and Taste Test is one of the best. I got so sucked into the story I lost track of time and before I knew it, I’d finished it.

The writing was impeccable, the storyline brilliant and overall a really emotional book. One of the best books I’ve read this year by far. L.B. Dunbar is a great author and one of my favourite, must-reads. She never disappoints. The only problem I had with Taste Test is the end, it happened way too soon, I wanted to go to the beginning and start all over again.

The first word that comes to mind is “Unexpected”. I expected great things but WOW I did not see that one coming.

Austin is a tattoo artist *swoon*, hottie, family man and dominant oaf and I loved him. He’s just what the doctor ordered for Sierra and I couldn’t have picked a better man for her.

Sienna is so much more than she seems at first. She’s a strong woman, loving, caring, always puts others first and one hell of a catch for Austin. She surprised me a lot, all in good ways. She has a strength to her that had me in awe.

I also loved all the other characters with the exception of Shannon, Richard & Jessica (Alex’s wife). The Montgomerys are what family is all about. They may be a bit loud and fight with eachother but what they have is real, I loved the family barbecues.

There was quite a few bumps in the road for Austin & Sierra. Some worse than others but together they had the power to overcome the obstacles put in their path and came out stronger at the other end.

The whole book was awesome, I read it in one sitting as I just couldn’t put it down. I laughed, I cried, I screamed but I enjoyed it all. The only thing I don’t like is having to wait until Nov 12th for Forever Ink. I want it now!!!

When high school English teacher finds personal journals belonging to a woman named Rebecca and she’s determined to find out what has happened to her as she seems to have disappeared with no trace. During her hunt she ends up at the Art Gallery where Rebecca worked and offers to work there for the summer. Sara finds herself attracted to her boss Mark and Artist Chris Merit, both have an edge to them and Sara wants to know more.

Wow, just wow. I refused to put this down last night until I finished it even though I was completely shattered, if it weren’t for my kindle battery running low I’m sure I’d have started ‘Being Me’ then too instead of sleeping.

A lot of people have made references to the 50 shades trilogy, including Lisa but its completely different. Okay, so it contains BDSM and Authoritative Male characters who always get what they want and can’t take no for an answer.

I loved Sara’s character. She’s just so bold and can stand up for herself, even if her body just wants to melt! I loved that and I’m pretty sure Mark and Chris do too. She’s smart, beautiful, fun and normal.

Mark Crompton is Sara’s boss at the Gallery and he’s got the looks, the money and the charm. He’s bossy, arrogant, cocky and flat out irritating! He always wound me up and I’m sure Sara feels it much worse. I love a man in a suit though, especially pin-striped suits.

Chris Merit is a well known Artist and Sara loves his work. She meets him at the gallery and is charmed by his easy attitude and his good looks. He’s more than he makes himself out to be and Sara wants to know his deepest darkest secrets, lets hope we get to share them too ;). I loved Chris, he’s so charming and sexy although he’s still arrogant and bossy, especially in the bedroom.

If I Were You is fast-paced, the writing is good and flows smoothly. Allowing me to read it all in one sitting. The story was great too. I loved how it all evolved around a journal, how exciting would it be to discover them yourself. They are HOT!! The world Sara finds herself in is all new and exciting and I love Art too which was a bonus, but I don’t do wine, I’m more of a Jack Daniels gal :)

Overall I really enjoyed this and am glad I don’t have to wait to read the next book in the series, Being Me as the cliffhanger at the end of If I Were You left me speechless. I couldn’t believe it finished where it did! It left my mouth dry and my heart pounding.

Emily returns to her grandmothers home in a little town after receiving a worried phone call. She was only supposed to stay for a few days, long enough to get things straightened out when she finds herself having to stay longer. Emily got a lot more than she bargained for, she never expected a man like Jess to step into her life and turn it upside down.

I'm a mess, Sound Advice for me was a big emotional rollercoaster. It had so much depth, mixed with many emotions I felt right down to my bones. It just sucks you in until you feel everything the characters do. The writing was great and the storyline was creative. A real life fairy tale. If you like fairy tales and happily ever afters you'll love this one.

I don't want to go into too much detail as the littles thing could spoil it and I really don't want to do that. You need to be able to experience the whole book without knowing anything going in. I think that's part of why I enjoyed it so much, I didn't know what to expect. I didn't read any reviews before reading it and I'm glad as think it would have spoiled it for me.

All the characters were lovable. They were easy to like and all gave something to the story, they were all important. When so many different characters are involved sometimes it's hard to feel connected but you do, with each and every one.

Favourites, Katie was definitely my fav, I couldn't help but fall in love with her. I liked Sue Carpenter too, she was a big help to Emily and just a generally nice person. Jess Carter was swoon worthy but moody as hell which of course made it more fun.

Sound Advice is a story of love, power, happiness, grief and magic. If you read romance you'll love this. I wish there was more to it, especially towards the end. I wasn't ready to let Emily and Jess go.

The synopsis doesn’t give very much away does it? Not that I mind, I didn’t know what to expect and it was so exciting. See How She Runs was full of twists and turns, some expected, some definitely not! Life on the run sure doesn’t sound fun to me though.

Poor Izzy lost her parents at a young age and doesn’t let herself get close to anyone, the only exception being her best friend Kennan. Who of course turns out to be different than she first thought, full of secrets and an ASS! But we’ll get to him later. Izzy is awesome. Even though life has dealt her a really crappy hand she keeps her head on and soldiers on. Nothing seems to be able to break her, she’s so brave and determined. I really admired that about her and I just know she’s going to kick some serious butt.

Kennan is a sexy, six-foot-seven, charming dude who is the only person Izzy truly trusts. They have a special bond that’s unbreakable, and Kennan would do anything in his power to keep Izzy safe, even if it’s from herself. I hated him a teeny weeny bit at times for being secretive as you do but overall I just loved his character. He just doesn’t give up!

I have to quickly mention Ian and Molly too. I absolutely loved Ian, his fashion sense and attitude totally made me smile and Molly was pretty great too. She has a no bullsh*t attitude about her that you can’t help but think “HA, you just got told!”

There’s not a lot really that I can say about the baddy, I didn’t learn much about him other than he’s a greedy, backstabbing, lying, manipulative turnip who needed putting in his place. Grrrr… I really didn’t like Xavier at all, I wanted to claw his eyes out :(.

Overall I enjoyed See How She Runs. I feel as if things could have been explained better, the missing details meant I couldn’t quite pull myself into the story which is a real shame, with more depth this could have been a GREAT book. I’m looking forward to reading See How She Fights, book 2 in the series. I want to see Izzy open a can of whoop ass YEAHH!!

Brooke and Savannah are best friends, nothing can come between them…until Luke. Both women have been seeing the same man without knowing it. When they find out Luke pits them against each other. Can they get over it or will they hate each other forever?

Holy moly, mother of god! I have got one seriously bad stitch right now, and tears streaming down my face from laughing so hard, I swear. Never have I read a book that’s made me giggle so much, I had a few moments of sad tears too but they were definitely outweighed.

Hourglass is genius, I loved every minute of it. Watching everything unfold was comical, I’m glad I was in the comfort of my own home reading this, can you imagine me out in public? Bursting out laughing every 5 minuets, people would have had me committed.

I loved how well it was written, Kym and Megan made me feel every emotion right along with the girls. All the hurt, betrayal, jealousy, anger & love, I felt it all. I was an emotional wreck, I love it when a book sucks you in and you feel like you’re in the book with them, there’s nothing better.

I loved both Brooke and Savannah. Brooke is the innocent one, wanting hearts and flowers while Savannah doesn’t want to settle, she only wants a good time. They compliment each other nicely, their relationship is what every girl wants (not necessarily the fighting part but that was fun too) with their best friend. They can bitch and fight but at the end of the day they’re both willing to fight for one another.

Luke is a slimeball piece of ass! He’s charming, sexy, manipulative, arrogant and a BIG player. I hope he gets what’s coming to him, he deserves a whole world of hurt.

Ergghhhh.. I’m done talking about him.Anyway, the way the girls decide to get their revenge was sweet. Say goodbye to nice and innocent & hello to the angry, vicious Brooke. Savannah goes into momma bear mode, doing anything to protect her bestie, you go girls ;)

I don’t want to go into too much detail and spoil it for you all but I will say you need to read it, and then you can fangirl along with me. I feel like if I don’t rant about it to someone soon I’m going to burst!!!

Where’s Hourglass 2? I want it NOW!!!! <3

Ella starts college as a normal girl, hoping to have a good time with her best friend Josie. Being normal doesn’t last long when she learns her family has been keeping deadly secrets from her. She’s in danger and doesn’t even realise it as she’s been kept in the dark. Ella needs to learn who she can trust and who’s the bad guy before she gets herself killed.

The Wanderers was so unexpected. After reading the synopsis I always play the guessing game, most of the time I get some bits right but not with this one, it took me completely by surprise, and what a nice surprise it was.

The storyline was great, full of friendship, partying, lying, anger, love, fighting, murder and surprises. It had a bit of everything and I really enjoyed it. It kept me in it’s claws the whole way and I was sad to see it end. Jessica’s writing is great, she kept me on the edge of my seat, iPad glued to hand unable to put it down until I’d finished it.

I feel sorry for Ella, it seems everyone knows who and what she is besides her. And then to learn the truth and how deep the lies were, it must have been devastating. But she took it well, she stayed strong and made the best of it. Not all of her decisions were great though and it just added more excitement.

Tristan annoyed me pretty much the whole way through, but I liked him at the same time. One second I wanted to strangle him and the next he was making me giggle like a school girl. In the end though I loved him, the length he showed he’d go to for Ella made me all teary eyed. He’s another one though that made some really crappy decisions, and the outcome was heartbreaking.

I’m not even going to get into the bad guys because knowing me I’ll say something and give it away without meaning to. All I would like to say to them is you stupid, lying farts! :/ grrrr…. I was so angry when I got to the end, just how can it finish there? I wanted to scream and probably would have if I didn’t already have Reborn, book 2 in the series.

OMG the prologue! I think it was awesome, and just wow. Can you imagine that happening to you, that'd be a story to tell people wouldn't it haha! You seriously need to read it if you haven't already!!!! Fangirling right now ;)

I absolutely loved this book right the way through to the epilogue which was also amazing! The writing was magical, seriously, I felt like I was under a spell. All day I was like "hmmm... I'll just finish this chapter then I better do the cleaning before my man gets home" but nope no cleaning has been done today, bad I know but I just couldn't help it ;)

Mermaids are one of my favourite fantasy/mythical creatures. The only way they can get better in my eyes is if they could fly. And they sort of can in Rising as they hover so I was well pleased. I also liked how it wasn't just mermaids but Dagonians too who are sort of like Mers but not and yeah they totally hate each other which just a whole lot of fun to the tale.

Sara is a character you just can't help but love. Even though she has had a rubbish life she still makes the most of it and powers through. Yeah so she hides her body as she's self-conscious but she doesn't let it stop her from going out (much), she's still determined to do everything herself. I admired her a lot and was made up with how things turned out! You go girl :P

Xanthus *wipes drool from chin* is a sexy beast, well dagonian but still. He's just full of yumminess. He's 7foot tall, muscular, crazy-good looking and goes out of his was to help Sara and make sure she's safe *swoon* arrgghhhh I think I'm in love. I can't say much more about him I'm afraid or I wont be able to stop and I'll ruin it for everyone who has yet to read it.

Just wow, everything about Rising is incredible. The plot, the writing, the romance, the fighting. It had the right amount of everything and I LOVED it. You guys get the point yet? Haha

And now I'm desperate to find out what happens next. But I have Descending (book 2) so I'll be starting that as soon as I finish writing this review YAY. If you love fantasy books, and/or mermaids then I highly recommend reading the Rising series. I don't think you'll be disappointed, I sure wasn't!
